Abstract
This is an informational document describing issues and comparing general advantages and disadvantages of various approaches to extending TRILL (Transparent Interconnection of Lot of Links) to use multilevel IS-IS (Intermediate System to Intermediate System) routing to improve TRILL's scalability.
