The text of the original IPR declaration:
The following note was received on December 16, 1998
From: Mike Borella
3Com Corporation owns one or more patent applications which may cover
technology discussed in 3Com's submission "draft-borella-aatn-dnat-01.txt"
relating to distributed or host-based network address translation. 3Com
intends to make licenses available under any patents it may obtain that
cover technology necessary to implement an IETF standard relating to
distributed or host-based network address translation under reasonable
and non-discriminatory terms and conditions.
3Com's willingness to grant such licenses to a particular licensee,
however, is conditioned upon receiving reciprocity from such licensee with
respect to any patents it may own that cover technology necessary to
practice a standard.
