{"abstract": "   Route tagging plays an important role in external BGP (RFC4271)\n   relations for communicating various routing policies between peers.\n   It is also a common best practice among operators to propagate\n   various additional information about routes intra-domain.  The most\n   common tool used today to attach various information about routes is\n   through the use of BGP communities (original, extended or large).\n\n   This document defines a new flexible Community encoding in a BGP\n   Attribute that enhances what can be accomplished with BGP\n   communities.  Three initial use cases for this are flow specification\n   version 2 (FSv2) actions, routing policy distribution (rpd) actions,\n   and wide communities.\n", "ad": null, "expires": "2025-04-17T18:04:08Z", "external_url": "", "group": "/api/v1/group/group/1027/", "id": 139580, "intended_std_level": null, "keywords": "[]", "name": "draft-hares-idr-bgp-community-attribute", "note": "", "notify": "", "pages": 11, "resource_uri": "/api/v1/doc/document/draft-hares-idr-bgp-community-attribute/", "rev": "01", "rfc": null, "rfc_number": null, "shepherd": null, "states": ["/api/v1/doc/state/2/", "/api/v1/doc/state/150/"], "std_level": null, "stream": null, "submissions": ["/api/v1/submit/submission/146046/", "/api/v1/submit/submission/146306/"], "tags": [], "time": "2025-04-17T07:05:19Z", "title": "BGP Community Container Attribute", "type": "/api/v1/name/doctypename/draft/", "uploaded_filename": "", "words": null}
