## Introduction

These meetings are generally:

* focused on providing visibility/input/discussion of tactical LLC comms
activities * complementary to eodir and other activities * being recorded, with
notes and video posted afterwards

### Definition of “comms”

In the context of this call, “comms” refers to communications with specific
audiences for the purpose of achieving a particular outcome. This activity is
often referred to as [“Marketing
communications”](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing_communications) though
the context of the IETF does not include many of the aspects associated with
commercial entities.
