Information for IAB/IESG
This discussion started in a well-attended side meeting in Bangkok, and has continued on the web-bot-auth mailing list. There appears to be strong and urgent interest in finding a solution for this space, and reasonable alignment on the way forward (that needs to be confirmed in a BoF).
The BoF in Madrid showed promise, but there were some concerns expressed about the scope of the work, as well as implementability (i.e., having a reasonable starting point that shows the work is achievable). A two hour side meeting in Madrid after the BoF delved into these issues and resulted in more clarity and several changes and expansions in the proposed charter.
