Update to the Telephony Routing over IP (TRIP) IANA Registry Rules regarding Postal Addresses

I don't have a problem with the main goal of this document, especially because it will help with GDPR compliance.

I hesitate to open a related topic, but maybe the document should clarify a few things:

Can ITAD Numbers be reassigned? If they can be, what is required from a requestor to prove that the reassignment is valid? (E.g. that previously used email address is still deliverable and can be used to confirm reassignment. What happens if the email is no longer valid?). If reassignment are not allowed and instead a requester needs to ask for a new number, I think the document should just state that.

The IANA Functions Operator understands that, upon approval of this document, there is a single action which we must complete.

In the following registries:

TRIP Attributes
TRIP IP Telephony Administrative Domain (ITAD) Numbers

both on the Telephony Routing over IP (TRIP) Parameters registry page located at:

https://www.iana.org/assignments/trip-parameters/

IANA will no longer collect postal address information when adding TRIP registry entries.

In addition, the registries will be altered so that previously collected postal addresses will not be published in the registries.

The IANA Functions Operator understands that this is the only action required to be completed upon approval of this document.

Note:  The actions requested in this document will not be completed until the document has been approved for publication as an RFC. This message is meant only to confirm the list of actions that will be performed.
