This document has been reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an IETF
Working Group.

Technical Summary

The document deprecates the use of any "int" domain names that were
designated for infrastructure purposes by the IETF, and identifies
them for removal from the "int" top-level domain. Any implementation
that involves these domains should be considered deprecated. This
document also requests moving the status of RFC 1528 and RFC 1706 to
   historic.

Please also see https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/status-change-int-tlds-to-historic/ which is the Status Change document for this, and also https://www.ietf.org/about/groups/iesg/statements/designating-rfcs-historic-2014-07-20/ which describes the (fairly baroque) process around moving documents to historic.

Working Group Summary

This document was AD sponsored, although it has been
  discussed in the DNSOP WG.

Document Quality

This is largely a housekeeping document - it documents
a number of actions that have already occurred, and does
  not define new protocol, etc.
