Please consider the suggestion from the Gen-ART Review by
  Brian Carpenter on 2-Sept-2011:

  One tiny piece of future-proofing would be to state that in this
  context, 'ogf' stands for 'open grid format'. Thus, if the OGF ever
  changes its name (as it has in the past) or even, unthinkably,
  vanishes, the namespace would still make sense.

The reference pointing to the OGF process for defining URNs isn't real yet, and the RFC Editor note says to hold off publication until it's been written.  Since this is the case, it seems like it would make more sense for the IETF consensus evaluation to happen after that document is written as well.  Otherwise it seems that we're setting aside the "ogf" namespace and writing a blank check for how to use it?

IANA understands that, upon approval of this document, there is a single
IANA action that needs to be completed.

(URN) Namespaces located at:

a new registration will be added as follows:

URN Namespaces: ogf
Value: [ tbd ]
Reference: [ RFC-to-be ] and http://www.ogf.org/urn/
