Abstract
This document presents objectives for the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) framework. Primarily it presents a fundamental objective for interoperability among wireless local area network (WLAN) devices of different designs. The document also describes additional objectives for shared WLAN infrastructure and QoS.
