Jari's tools take a stab at gender. Such information ought not
be added to the tracker DB, and nor ought heuristics that could
allow one to derive the gender from an author's other published
information. I think warning about that possibility would be
good too even if you don't end up saying to not do stuff like
that.

Is there an expectation that the list of such techniques will change over time?

I note that the existing pages get my affiliation wrong. They seem to infer affiliation from my email address domain. It might be worth mentioning that any official tool should not do that, lest we have “gmail” as the biggest employer in the IETF.

Data in aggregate can be revealing from a privacy standpoint, but it is all public and already being done today.  As such, I have no objections.
