Technical Summary
This document specifices problems in running the IETF protocols over
IEEE 802.16 network and identifies specific gaps in the 802.16 MAC for
IPv4 and IPv6 support.Also, this document spells out several goals to
point at relevant works to be done in IETF.
Working Group Summary
There is concensus from the WG for this document. Amount of
review in the WG is small, however.
Protocol Quality
Jari Arkko has reviewed this document for the IESG. Reviews
from IEEE 802.16 were sought and received.
Note to RFC Editor
In the Abstract, please change "running the IETF IP protocols
over IEEE 802.16" to "running IP over 802.16".
In Section 1, please change the first occurrence of "BS" to
"Base Station (BS)". Similarly, change the first occurrence
of "SS" to "Subscriber Station (SS)".
Also in Section 1, please change "within the current 16ng WG scope"
