   This document defines a framework and the associated control plane requirements for the GMPLS-based control of flexi-grid DWDM networks.

Working Group Summary

   The document has been actively discussed on the mailing list and there has been a lot of interest in the work. The document had contributions from a large group of participants (as indicated by the contributing authors list). 

Document Quality
The work has had external review from the IDEALIST EU project that is making multiple inter-operating implementations of a GMPLS control plane for flexi-grid.
