Ballot Text

Technical Summary

   This document describes an architecture for protocols and services to
   support Unmanned Aircraft System Remote Identification and tracking
   (UAS RID), plus RID-related communications.  This architecture
   adheres to the requirements listed in the DRIP Requirements document, RFC 9153.

Working Group Summary

   The document was mostly reviewed by the chairs and the co-authors. It would
   have been appreciated to have more reviews of course, but given the number of
   rounds, the chairs and the AD believe the document is ready for publication.


Document Quality

   There are at least two ongoing implementations:
     * https://bitbucket.org/openhip/openhip/branches/
     * one implementation AX Enterprize is involved in.


Personnel

   Daniel Migault is the  Document Shepherd Éric Vyncke is the Area Director.
