Technical Summary
 
An Internet FAX Gateway provides functions which translate a
facsimile between the general switched telephone network (GSTN) and
the Internet. This document provides guidelines of optional services
and examples of an Internet FAX Gateway, with respect to the onramp
gateway and offramp gateway.
 
Working Group Summary
 
This document was reviewed by the FAX working group.  Consensus
to publish the document was reached, and last call comments
provided by the IETF community were received and incorporated
to produce the document.

Scott Hollenbeck has reviewed this specification for the IESG.
