Technical Summary

   This document defines a YANG data model for Layer 2 network
   topologies.  In particular, this data model augments the generic
   network and network topology data models with Layer 2 specific
   topology attributes.

Working Group Summary

   Was there anything in the WG process that is worth noting?
   For example, was there controversy about particular points 
   or were there decisions where the consensus was
   particularly rough? 

Document Quality

I2RS Working group has worked on and revised this draft
from 2015-2020.   The working group has had strong consensus 
on the model.  This model awaited some implementation 
feedback which has come in 2019-2020.

IESG Note

  This document throws a number of pyang validation warnings/errors.
  The warning are because of a disconnect of dates in draft-ietf-netmod-rfc6991-bis-03
  The errors are because the supporting tools are not able to import ieee802-dot1q-types. No error is encountered if this dependency are available locally.
