Technical Summary

In-situ Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (IOAM) collects operational and telemetry information in the packet while the packet traverses a path between two points in the network. This document provides a framework for IOAM deployment and discusses best current practices.

Working Group Summary

The document had strong support for adoption as being useful to help explain
IOAM. It didn't see large changes during the ~1 year of WG development, and
the WGLC was supportive, but not as many people chimed in as the adoption call.
However, that is what I would expect for an informational document like this
that didn't require many changes.

Document Quality

IOAM is already implemented and deployed, and this document is informationally
advising deployments.

Personnel

The Document Shepherd is Tommy Pauly. The Responsible AD is Martin Duke.
