Technical Summary

Segment Routing (SR) leverages the source routing paradigm. SR is
applicable to both Multiprotocol Label Switching (SR-MPLS) and IPv6
(SRv6) forwarding planes. This document specifies RFC 8762 (Simple
Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (STAMP)) extensions for SR
networks, for both SR-MPLS and SRv6 forwarding planes by augmenting
the optional extensions defined in RFC 8972.

Working Group Summary

Throughout the process on the document, from adoption, there was a lot of discussion
between the authors and one of the area experts in the group (Greg Mirsky), about making
sure that many aspects of the proposal fit into the existing STAMP architecture.

Document Quality

there are several implementations (at least amongst the authors) who will be using this, and this is being tracked by the SPRING WG.

Personnel

The Document Shepherd for this document is Tommy Pauly. The Responsible
   Area Director is Martin Duke.
