Technical Summary
 
The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is an Internet
protocol for accessing distributed directory services which act in
accordance with X.500 data and service models.  This document provides
a roadmap of the LDAP Technical Specification.
 
Working Group Summary
 
The working group came to consensus on this document.  Though quite short,
it gives needed context for the set of documents.
 
Protocol Quality
 
The document was reviewed for the IESG by Ted Hardie.
