The WG would like some eyes that are very familiar with EVPN to look over this work and ensure that the modeled elements will satisfy requirements there. In particular, there are a few open issues in GitHub related to EVPN work in the L2NM. For example: - Missing the option to re-write dot1q information received in access. - Should we see this as network level parameter or device level configuration parameters? - Per RFC4448, control-word is missing. - I think control word is not EVPN specific. Not sure we should support this in EVPN case. And a general summary for EVPN support in https://github.com/IETF-OPSAWG-WG/l2nm/issues/1. Thanks. |
