Technical Summary

This document defines YANG data model for various Network Address Translation (NAT) mechanisms.  


Working Group Summary

There was a consensus in OPSAWG WG on the model itself. Some controversy got raised on the aspects of logging of the translation operations.  


Document Quality

There are existing open and closed source implementations, and indications that more implementations will appear. Document was reviewed by YANG doctors and several area review teams.

Document shepherd is Joe Clarke. Responsible Area Director is Ignas Bagdonas.

This document adds new entries to URI and YANG namespace registries.
