Uri Blumenthal's Secdir review has not received a response.  I believe the issues
he raises about the security considerations are valid and need to be addressed.

His review begins with:

> I've reviewed this draft (draft-ietf-ospf-manet-mdr-04). Its Security
> Considration section basically states "This is OSPFv3 extension and can use
> the same IPv6 security mechanisms as OSPFv3. No new security concerns."

> I know way too little of OSPF to meaningfully evaluate this statement. My
> intuition however says that mobility and Ad-Hoc-ness probably do introduce

I would tend to agree.  Text is needed to either demonstrate that new concerns
are not introduced by mobility and ad-hoc-ness, or to highlight the concerns that
are introduced.  (Given the intended staus, I would not expect to see solutions for
every concern.)

[Ballot comment]
I think that it is very unfortunate that we can't agree on one single standards track approach for supporting MANET networks with OSPF. However, I understand the difficulty here, and under the circumstances  probably the least bad approach is to progress all three as experimental, and then hope to sort out differences with the aid of operational experience.
