Technical Summary

The PCE communication Protocol (PCEP) has been extended to support
stateful PCE functions where the Stateful PCE maintains information
about paths and resource usage within a network, but these extensions
do not cover all requirements for GMPLS networks.

This document provides the extensions required for PCEP so as to
enable the usage of a stateful PCE capability in GMPLS-controlled
   networks.

Working Group Summary

WG consensus represents a strong concurrence of a few but that is
understandable for a specialized document that is applicable for
GMPLS only.

Shepherd notes no particular controversy.

Document Quality

There is an existing implementation identified in the document. No
special reviews required or performed.

Personnel

The Document Shepherd for this document is Dhruv Dhody. The Responsible
   Area Director is John Scudder.
