Technical Summary

This document defines Post-Quantum Traditional (PQ/T) Hybrid key
exchange methods based on the quantum-resistant the Module-Lattice-
Based Key-Encapsulation Mechanism (ML-KEM) standard and traditional
Elliptic-curve Diffie–Hellman (ECDH) key exchange schemes. These
methods are defined for use in the SSH Transport Layer Protocol.

Working Group Summary

There was heated discussion around both this draft and
draft-ietf-sshm-ntruprime-ssh (currently in the editor's queue). The
working group consensus is that both specifications will be the same
when it comes to the IANA recommendation for implementers (that they
SHOULD be implemented) and the type of RFC desired (Informational).
See the shepherd's writeup for more detail.

Document Quality

Implementations exist, they are noted on the mailing list.

Personnel

The Document Shepherd for this document is Stephen Farrell. The
Responsible Area Director is Deb Cooley.
