draft-li-arch-sat-07  has been presented to the ISE for
publication as an Informational RFC on the Independent Stream.

==Purpose==

This draft discusses a means to provide global satellite connectivity
using standard IETF protocols.

== History==

This work was first submitted to the ISE in January of this year.
I referred the work into RTGWG but it was then referred back to
the ISE.

==Non-IETF Work==

There are a number of proprietary approaches.  This work suggests
a more standardized approach.

See Section 10 of that document.

The document makes no request for IANA action.
