SDP Descriptors for FLUTE
draft-mehta-rmt-flute-sdp-06

The normative reference draft-ietf-rmt-flute-revised has requirements on signaling for flute has been through IETF last call. As this document fail to address these requirements without some modification it is removed from the RFC-editor queue. It is moved into RMT WG to be addressed there and later going through the regular approval process.

It should be WG last called in MMUSIC also.

IANA Comments:
Upon approval of this document the IANA will register the following:
1 "proto" sub-field registration
6 Attribute Names in the "att-field"
1 registration under the Semantics for the "group" SDP Attribute.

These registrations will take place in the following:
http://www.iana.org/assignments/sdp-parameters

IANA has 1 question regarding the requested actions in section 6.1.1.  Media formats ("fmt").  Message was sent to Allison for clarification.

This had multiple revisions under review Joerg Ott (MMUSIC chair),
Lorenzo Vicisano (RMT chair), and Magnus Westerlund (AVT chair and
simply technical reviewer).  It's an independent because it spanned
two WGs and the chairs and I agreed we would take it
forward with independent review, especially as it was going
to Experimental as TSV does initially for all reliable multicast.

It is a critical dependency of 3GPP.

The present revision shows all the changes agreed on, and
looks right to me.

Have pinged the authors and list of chairs, Jon, on Joerg Ott's review.  Probably this
does need a revised ID, based on the comments, but Magnus has agreed to do
an evaluation of the review to help with that.  This is getting very time-critical.

Needed for 3GPP; we are told that 3GPP2 also is using FLUTE.  During May 11 liaison call, 3GPP commits to switching to mehta parameters after this is published.
