draft-pkcs5-gost  has been presented to the ISE for
publication as an Informational RFC on the Independent Stream.

==Purpose==

This draft specifies use of GOST encryption and hashing algorithms for
use with PKCS#5 (RFC 8018).

This draft was brought to the attention of the Independent Submissions
Editor on the 28th of July, 2021, and was formally admitted into the
stram on the 14th of August, 2021.  The ISE reviewed the draft on the
4th of January.

This document was reviewed by Dmitry Belyavsky, Russ Housley, and
