Abstract
The aim of this document is to raise awareness about the built in security features of batch EDIFACT, for use when transmitted over any type of network. It is not intended to reproduce the syntax, which is documented elsewhere, nor is it intended to be a full tutorial on EDIFACT, data security, or EDIFACT security.
