Abstract
The Switched Fabric Connection Tap (SFCT) protocol is part of the InterSwitch Message Protocol (ISMP). ISMP was designed to facilitate interswitch communication within distributed connection-oriented switching networks. The SFCT protocol is used to monitor communication between two end stations.
