1. 15 min - Agenda bash, WG Agenda and Status - Andy MALIS and Stewart BRYANT
Andy called the session to order. Dave co-chaired, sitting in for Stewart.
Himanshu Shah graciously agreed to take notes.

- Andy Malis went through the Agenda -
- no changes to agenda
Andy presented the WG status slides

- 6 new RFCs,
Andy acknowledged the participants to make RFC happen.

- 4 drafts in IESG review
- 1 LC on endpoint-fastprotectgion
- 1 on extended LC, revised based on comments
- progress on few more drafts, some are being discussed today
- no comments after agenda discussions

2. 10 min - L2 VPLS Yang model - Patrice BRISSETTE/Himanshu SHAH

Objective: The team will like to share the latest development regarding the
L2VPN Yang model

Patrice presented, see slides.
- 3rd presentation
- Quick update on whats new
- config model updated
- AC template removed
- renaming of containers
- leveraging interface draft along with IEEE
- adding operational data
- EVPN is referenced in the L2VPN yang model

- Himanshu : update on the interface yang model draft.
 we have received liason from IEEE that needs to be
 resolved to make progress on the interface yang
 draft which is referenced in L2VPN Yang draft

- Patrice - It is not stopping progress of L2VPN yang draft

Glen Parson noted that there will be a conf call with IEEE to discuss the on
the concerns or strategy on how to move forward with the YANG interface draft
along with IEEE's YANG model.

3. 10 min - P2MP PW signaling using LDP - Sami BOUTROS

Objective:  Finally getting a chance to standardize the p2mp PW solution using
LDP after the requirement document became RFC7338

Sami Boutros presented, see slides.

- draft around for 5 years, blocked on req to become rfc
- solution in this draft. LDP is used to signal p2mp PW
- bgp solution already exist
- p2p PW from leaves to root
- p2mp from root to leaves
- PW can ride over p2mp LSP (RSVP or mLDP based)
- mandatory msg from root to leaf PW
- p2mp upstream PE FEC new
- interface param (new)
- selective tree interface parameter sub-tlv defined
- PW capability for p2mp in LDP
- wildcard FEC for mass withdrawal extended for p2mp PW
- IANA allocation for new FEC 131 p2mp PW, p2mp PW capability,
  and additional allocations required
- Sami request LC. Andy suggested Sami to request on the email list

4. 10 min - LSP Ping extension for P2MP PW - Sami BOUTROS

Objective:  Define new LSP Ping TLVs to verify connectivity of  p2mp PWs.

Sami Boutros presented, see slides.

- VCCV ping applicable to p2mp PW for LDP or BGP
- new target FEC stack element for p2mp PW
- control for ECHO responses - which leaf should response, etc
- gal/gach is used for VCCV ping
- response from leaf over p2p
Loa Anderson - rfc 4379bis - please indicate any changes required for that bis

- Andy : asking for which group WG adoption? Bess or Pals?
- Sami : PALS
- Sharam - do you support only vccv type 4 or all other vccv types are supported
- Sami - supports all VCCV channels
- Himanshu - does VCCV ping work for MS-PW?
- Sami - it was not in the scope when this work started

- Stewart (via jabber) - is MS-PW use case known?
- Himanshu - yes
- Himanshu - VCCV traceroute work for p2mp PW?
- Sami - it is more applicable when p2mp extended for MS-PW

5. 15 min - MPLS-TP PW dual-homing protection - Jie DONG

Objective: Present the updates of the draft and get direction from the WG for
next step

Cheng presented, see slides.

- Egress protection using the dual-homed PEs and DNI PW
- one draft is framework and other one is protocol
- both has been in existence since last year
- framework - reviewed, made earlier changes, pretty stable
- protocol doc - added more description, added dual-home switching TLV,
  and protocol procedures
- both drafts are stable and would like LC

- andy asked how many read, lot of people did and asked the group
  to provide the comments on the list, more discussions
