Agenda
------

*    [17:05] Administrivia                                           [10min]
    o    Note-Well, Scribes, Agenda Bashing
    o    Status of drafts
    o    IETF 104

    * Alex going though the note well
    * PAscal : as Carsten is there maybe we could lok at his review. But then
    Dominique is not with us today so that's mostly if Laurent has questions. *
    LT: I don't see big issues in Carsten's comments. We are going to work on
    how we represent the rules (at compressor and decompressor) * CB: specific
    data model for the rule in a separate draft? * LT: yes * Alex: Happy that
    there is no major issue so far. Hopefully the fragmentation part is as
    readable as the header compression part. * Alex: the main agenda item for
    today is the data model * PT shows the draft agenda for IETF 104, discusses
    with Laurent and Ivaylo the time for some slots * Alex: I think the agenda
    is good as it is now (regarding available time) * Alex presenting progress
    vs. charter. Sounding good; preparing ot recharter * Alex: Charlie's draft
    (SCHC over 15.4w) has not been updated * PT: Charlie gives two kinds of
    presentations: about the draft, and about the standardization status of
    IEEE 802.15.4w. We can ping him regarding both * Alex: there is a conflict
    between t2trg and lpwan (collision in the agenda). * CB: I don't think I'll
    be able to attend lpwan * Alex: if you have comments, it would be good if
    you can give them to the presenters in advance

* [17:15] Data model for SCHC (Laurent). [20min]
    * LT: I updated the draft on the YANG model we had some time ago, but on
    today's slides I add more content * LT: lots of questions on the Rule (SCHC
    draft), how it can be defined more precisely * LT: my proposal is an
    attempt to show how we can define the Rule for compression and
    fragmentation * LT presents Rule ID structure (raw-wise: Field id, FL, FP,
    DI, Target Value, Matching Operator, CDA) * LT presents YANG tree for the
    Rule. Three parts: Rule ID and length, fragmentation and compression. * PT
    we don't have to be economical on the values of the size of the data model
    * LT: the goal is to have a shorter size for the Rule ID * PT: maybe using
    32bits for the rule ID enables more scenarios? * AP: the representation is
    in CBOR so a larger rule id size is not an issue * LT: 2 ways to represent
    a Field ID: enumeration (may have short representation but problems for
    extending it); another solution is using sid values, which
          are unique by definition.
    * AP: to me it is clear, very helpful.
    * LT: Field ID extension - for CoAP we can use a negative number
    * CB: do you use YANG v1 ?
    * LT: I don't know at this time
    * CB: this should be on the list of things to ask to YANG doctors
    * PT: rendez-vous with a YANG doctor needs to be scheduled
    * LT presents Field Length
    * LT presents Target Value (Target Value is actually a list of values,
    needs to be corrected in the slide): many possible types... * CB: perhaps
    union of the various uint types... But I'm not a YANG doctor. * AP: YANG
    doctors will be the right ones to make this question * LT: Next steps:
    check validity of YANG model (ask YANG doctors), and study the impact of
    COREconf * PT: we can give you more time: 30 min in the agenda in Prague. *
    LT: when I submitted the draft, the IETF tool was checking for YANG validity

*    [17:35] Preparation of IETF 104  (chairs)                       [10min]
    Reviewed agenda and gave 30 minutes to Laurent's presentation

*    [17:45] AOB                                                     [15min]
    * AP: any other business?
    * PT/AP: Chili LPWAN restaurant after the lpwan session in Prague proposed!
