Agenda:

    1. RG organization stuff: completed re-charter, group github (and other
    tools/resources), meetings 2020, survey. Hackathon project. ANRW and other
    announcements. (~10 min.)

    final charter for consensus call. Ends Thu. Jan. 30th.

    2 . AI for NM (~45 min.)

    2.1 Status and development of Research Challenges in AI for Network
    Management document

    Jérôme: not only research challenges. also education, system aspects

    Alex: on document ToC, put use cases first. what meaning of "data realm",
    "action realm". Need to elaborate.

    2.2 Status and development of Network Management AI challenges/competitions

    VIshnu: status of the ITU challenge, document framework can be shared,
    planning a global challenge in different countries in 3 rounds, conference
    by the end of the year (end of 2nd round)

    Laurent: is the conference already identified?

    Vishnu: conference not identified yet, still under discussion. Proposal and
    support welcome.

    Jérôme: AI challenge on routing update: students will work on this
    challenge and if everyhting we'll have something almost ready by end of
    May. Then some finalization would be needed but hopefull we can expect the
    challenge being ready and run by end of the year

    3. IBN (~45min.)

    3.1 Status and development of active drafts:
    draft-irtf-nmrg-ibn-concepts-definitions ;
    draft-li-nmrg-intent-classification

    draft-irtf-nmrg-ibn-concepts-definitions: updates in progress (security
    considerations, diagrams, shift of text...) new version soon.

    draft-li-nmrg-intent-classification: no author available due to time
    difference. goal to follow-up after RG adoption call and evolve document.

    3.2 Development of other work items: Common architectural framework ; Use
    cases ; Implementations (also related to the point on hackathon and
    resource hub)

    Several participants interested in contributing to the work. Ask how to
    start/contribute? -> technical discussion on the mailing list. new drafts...

    Some use cases under preparation. Examples given: Enterprise + DC networks.
    CSP/5G Netwokr SLicing + Verticals. IoT/Digital Home/Smart x

    3.3 (CANCELLED) "Slice management automation and SLA compliance :
    forerunner of an IBN-based slice exposure", Amina Boubendir. (~15min.)
