The IESG approved the draft WG charter for IETF review. The 
Secretariat will send a WG Review announcement, with a separate message 
to new-work@ietf.org. The Secretariat will place the WG on the agenda 
for the next IESG Teleconference (September 23, 2021).

  o MAC Address Device Identification for Network and Application 
    Services (madinas)

The IESG approved the charter for the new working group pending edits to 
be provided by Eric Vyncke. The Secretariat will send a WG Action 
announcement. 

4.2 WG rechartering

    Area: TSV (Zaheduzzaman Sarker)

The charter remains under discussion by the IESG in order to resolve 
points raised by Alvaro Retana and Robert Wilton.*

6.1 [IANA #1207888] Designated experts for RFC 8006, "Content Delivery 
    Network Interconnection (CDNI) Metadata" (Francesca Palombini)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved Kevin J. Ma 
<kevin.j.ma.ietf@gmail.com> and Nir Sopher <nirs@qwilt.com> (pending his 
acceptance of the role) as the designated experts for the following 
registries defined in RFC 8006:

  o CDNI Metadata Footprint Types,
    https://www.iana.org/assignments/cdni-parameters/cdni-
    parameters.xhtml#metadata-footprint-types

  o CDNI Metadata Protocol Types,
    https://www.iana.org/assignments/cdni-parameters/cdni-

6.2 Approval of http core documents status change (correcting intended 
    RFC status to Internet Standard) (Francesca Palombini)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved changing the 
Intended Status of draft-ietf-httpbis-semantics, draft-ietf-httpbis-
messaging, and draft-ietf-httpbis-cache-18 to Internet Standard pending 
confirmation on the IESG mailing list.

6.3 Maintenance of https://github.com/ietf/repo-files (Lars Eggert)

The management issue was discussed.

6.4 Adding a second IESG rep to the IETF-IANA team (Lars Eggert)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved adding Roman 
Danyliw and Warren Kumari to the IETF-IANA team.

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved Kevin J. Ma 
<kevin.j.ma.ietf@gmail.com> and Ben Niven-Jenkins <ben@niven-
jenkins.co.uk> as the designated experts for the following registries:
