  • Watson: More work in fall. If people implement it, please let me
    know.
  • Karen: Does it make sense to have it in a hackathon?
  • Marcus: having the goal to have existing implementation
    interoperable would be goal for a hackathon
  • Christer: agree
  • Karen: will put the necessary information in the hackathon wiki
  • Ira: Roughtime is urgently needed in automotive industry
  • Marcus: would be welcome any comments from this industry
  • Ira: Roughtime is a very good fit for the auto industry.
  • Teichel: Why roughtime is more desirable than NTS?
  • Christer: I'm interested in creating a library for roughtime for
    small systems
  • Christer: Netnod is currently working on a project looking at the
    problem of bootstrapping time on IoT devices with Roughtime.

Requirements draft

  • No objections to adopt this a working group document

NTPv5 specification draft

  • Miroslav: no changes since the last interim
  • Miroslav: should be considered for adoption after adoption of the
    requirements draft

NTP over PTP

  • Miroslav: No changes. Considered to be ready for adoption

NTS for PTP

  • Kristof: there are no substantial updates to the draft.

AOB

  • Next interim in about four weeks
  • We will plan a physical meeting during IETF 114
