    outlining the architectural principles that the IAB thinks are
    important and need to be understood when considering Internet

    Workshops and see if there were any concrete outputs.

  • 2023-08-23: Suresh Krishnan to draft a blog post about the E-
    Impact Program.

  • 2023-09-20: Mallory Knodel to incorporate final edits to "IAB
    Statement on Client-side Scanning" and send it to the IAB for a
    final review/approval.

  • 2023-10-04: Suresh Krishnan to draft a response to the NIST request
    for comments on U.S. National Standards Strategy for Critical and
    Emerging Technologies.

  • 2023-11-07: Chris Wood, Tommy Pauly, and Wes Hardaker to work with
    Hannes Tschofenig on a response to the Confidential Computing
    Consortium's liaison statement in response to the IAB Statement on
    Attestation.

  • 2023-11-09: Cindy Morgan and Liz Flynn to move the public IAB wiki
    to wikijs.

  • 2023-11-09: Cindy Morgan/Liz Flynn to post the M-TEN Workshop
    papers in the Datatracker and send a list of updated references to
    the workshop report authors.

  • 2023-11-09: Mirja Kühlewind to reach out to legal regarding design
    teams and contributions.

  • 2023-11-09: Wes Hardaker and Dhruv Dhody to draft a response to the
    Appeal of IESG appeal decision on Meeting Guidance.

    the IAB Open meeting at IETF 119.

  • 2023-11-22: Cindy Morgan to post Mirja Kühlewind's email about the

  • 2023-11-22: Greg Wood to update the IAB Social media guidelines
    based on the IAB's comments and work with Cindy Morgan to get the

2. Identity-discuss mailing list

  
  It has been announced that this list will close but not when. 
  Cindy Morgan will send a message to the identity-discuss list
  announcing that it will be closed on 2023-12-01, and ask people 
  to direct further discussion to the WIMSE and SPICE lists.


3. eIDAS announcement as statement 

  Mirja Kühlewind sent an email to the ietf-announce list on 
  November 15 announcing that the IAB had signed on to the eIDAS 
  letter. Cindy Morgan will post this email as an IAB statement so 
  it is easier to find in the future. 


4. IAB Social Media Strategy

  Greg Wood presented an IAB Social Media Guidelines draft 
  document and discussed details with the IAB. Greg Wood will 
  update the document based on feedback from the IAB and work with 
  Cindy Morgan to post the guidelines on the IAB wiki.


5. IAB Statement on Encryption and Mandatory Client-side Scanning 
   of Content 

  A small group will use the IAB meeting slot next week to do some 
  editing on this document and bring it back to the full IAB for 
  further discussion. 


6. Executive Session: ISE Appointment

  This item was discussed in executive session. Cindy Morgan will 
  send a call for feedback on the Independent Submissions Editor.


7. Executive Session: Appeal Response

  This item was discussed in executive session.


8. Next IAB Meeting

  The next IAB meeting will be on 2023-12-06.
