2. IAB Technical Discussion: UN Consultations that Affect IETF 
   protocols 

  Chris Buckridge and Jordan Carter gave a presentation titled 
  "Internet Governance Now" which described the background of the 
  World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and digital 
  streams in the United Nations, risks and challenges in Internet 
  governance, and the responsibility of the Internet technical

3. Executive Session: Security Area Director Confirmation

  Mallory Knodel was recused from the discussion and left the   
  meeting. In an executive session, the IAB discussed the  
  candidate for Security Area Director presented by the NomCom. 
  The IAB decided to start the confirmation process immediately
  in order to announce the candidate as soon as possible before
  the upcoming IETF-119 meeting. The IAB members present voted
  on whether to confirm the candidate. Cindy Morgan will follow
  up with an e-vote for the members who were not present.
  

4. Next IAB Meeting

  The next IAB meeting will be in one week on 2024-03-06.
