  • 2024-06-05: Cindy Morgan to send the ICANN Board Liaison call for
    nominations on 2024-06-11.

IANA Services Liaison Report – 12 June 2024

SLA Deliverables Update:

ICANN met 100% of processing goal times for the April 2024 monthly
statistics report, exceeding the SLA goal to meet 90% of
processing goal times. These times include the steps that ICANN
has control over and not time it is waiting on requesters,
document authors or other experts. Monthly reports can be found at:

2.2 IRTF Chair Report

IRTF Chair report to the IAB for the month ending 2024-06-10

Research Groups

Work to find a replacement chair for RASPRG and recharter HPRC has
been on hold; hope to make progress by IETF 120.

ANRP

ANRP award talks at IETF 120 will be given by Xieyang Xu,
Yevheniya Nosyk, and Harjasleen Malvai. Planning in progress

ANRW

Reviewing completed: 27 papers were submitted, 18 accepted.
Scheduling and preparation of final versions is underway.

We have offered 7 diversity travel grants for IETF 120 (awardees

- There were no outreach activities this month.
- Some key upcoming events of importance are:
ICANN 80 (happening right now in Rwanda); Wes presented at the
High-Level Government Meeting (HLGM) [Video]

APIGA in Busan (July 2024); Dhruv is presenting remotely on role
of the IETF in the IG landscape

NetDev in Santa Clara (July 2024)

Target IAB activity in ITU-WTSA/GSS in Oct 2024 in New Delhi

- News:
IAB decided not to present at NetDev but Tom Herbert is holding a
workshop on the IPv6 Extension header.

2.4 EODir Report

  Mirja Kühlewind reported that EODir is discussing reviving tutorials,
  and suggested that anyone who has topics for potential tutorials
  should reach out to EODir directly.


2.5 Tools Report

  Mirja Kühlewind reported that there will be planned Datatracker
  outage on 2024-06-20 while several IETF services are moved over to
  the new cloud infrastructure.

  The Tools Team is discussing ways to get input from the community on
  how things are prioritized. Mirja Kühlewind will work with Wes
  Hardaker to prioritize the outstanding requests that the IAB has for
  the Tools Team.


3. Retreat Planning

  The IAB reviewed its retreat agenda and discussed details of
  timings and topics.

4. Executive Session: CCG Appointment

  The IAB discussed this appointment in an executive session.


5. Next IAB Meeting

  The next IAB meeting will be an executive session on 2024-06-19.
