2. IAB Technical Discussion: Censorship Measurements (Roya Ensafi)

  Roya Ensafi from the University of Michigan gave a talk titled
  "How Blocking metastasizes..." Her Censored Planet Lab
  (https://censoredplanet.org/) builds scalable techniques and systems
  to detect and defend against technologies and practices that impact
  users' freedom of expression online. The lab has the largest public
  censorship  dataset and provides a dashboard to facilitate use of
  the data. As an example, they have been tracking changes to Russian
  Internet over the past decade. The community needs help designing
  sustainable research tools.
