1. "FSC v. Paxton" Amicus Brief

   Ryan Polk provided an update on ISOC's involvement in the amicus brief.  He
   discussed the key arguments made in the brief.


2. Global Encryption Day Campaign

   Sebastian Schonfeld shared details about the upcoming Global Encryption Day
   campaign which will run from October 14th to late November and focus on
   raising awareness about the importance of encryption.  Campaign materials
   will target policymakers and a broader audience through social media and
   online platforms.


3. "Summit of the Future” and the final GDC

   Israel Rosas provided an update on the "Summit of the Future" and the final
   GDC.  He discussed the ongoing discussions about endorsing or supporting the
   text and the importance of stakeholder involvement in implementation.


4. AOB:

   - Ryan Polk provided an update on the state of the legislation making its
   way through the EU council related to client-side scanning.

   - Christian O'Flaherty mentioned that ISOC's Policymaker Program in Dublin
   expects about 14 participants distributed evenly between African and
   European attendees.

   - Alvaro Retana confirmed that this group will not meet in November due to
   the IETF meeting scheduled during the same week.
