     o Roman Danyliw to prepare status changes or another way forward 
       for the handful of obsoleted documents Pete Resnick emailed the 
       IESG about on 2 Nov 2024.


IN PROGRESS: 

     o Murray Kucherawy to find designated experts for RFC 9559 (Matroska 
       Media Container Format Specification) [IANA #1385324].

     o Paul Wouters to find designated experts for RFC 9668 
       (EDHOC Authentication Credential Types)[IANA #1401194].

     o Murray Kucherawy and Eric Vyncke to create a draft IESG statement 
       about using 2119 language.

     o Roman Danyliw to work on adding a checkbox to the meeting 
       registration system asking people to identify they are willing to 
       serve as WG chair.

     o Roman Danyliw to take a look at Datatracker documentation of 
       document states and update as needed.

     o Roman Danyliw to work with Secretariat to update non-wg list 
       guidelines webpage.

     o IESG to decide whether we are going to collectively agree to opt in 
       to the RPC auth 48 Github experiment if authors are part of the 
       github experiment.

4.1 WG creation

The IESG approved the charter for the new working group pending the 
addition of chairs to be provided by Zahed Sarker. The Secretariat will 
send a WG Action announcement.


4.2 WG rechartering
4.2.1 Under evaluation for IETF review

 o Protocols for IP Multicast (pim)

The IESG decided to proceed with IETF review of the revised charter. The 
Secretariat will send a WG Review announcement, with a separate message 
to new-work@ietf.org. The Secretariat will place the WG on the agenda 
for the next IESG Teleconference on 2025-01-09.


 o IPv6 over Networks of Resource-constrained Nodes (6lo)

The IESG approved the updated charter for the working group. The 
Secretariat will send a WG Action: RECHARTER announcement.

6. Management issues

6.1 Additional Designated Expert for JOSE Registries (Deb Cooley)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved Filip Skokan 
<panva.ip@gmail.com> as an additional designated expert for the 
JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) registries.


6.2 Downref to RFC3985 in draft-ietf-pals-ple-14 (Gunter Van de Velde)

The management item was discussed. No action was required because 
RFC3985 is already in the downref registry.


6.3 ALLDISPATCH Feedback (Francesca Palombini)

The management item was discussed. Deb Cooley, Roman Danyliw, and 
Francesca Palombini will review the ALLDISPATCH feedback.


6.4 Designated Experts for RFC 9681 (Gunter Van de Velde)

The management issue was discussed. The IESG approved Hannes
Gredler <hannes@gredler.at>, Les Ginsberg <ginsberg@cisco.com>,
and Christian Hopps <chopps@chopps.org> as the designated experts 
for RFC 9681.


6.5 Executive Session: NomCom Confirmation (Roman Danyliw)

The management issue was discussed in an executive session with 
IESG, Secretariat, and liaisons present.

6.6 Executive Session: Appeal (Roman Danyliw)

The management issue was discussed in an executive session with 
IESG and Secretariat present. The IAB liaison (David Schinazi) 
recused himself. The Security area ADs (Deb Cooley and Paul 
Wouters) recused themselves for a portion of the discussion.
