Done:
  • 2025-01-08: Matthew Bocci, Dhruv Dhody, Suresh Krishnan, Tommy
    Pauly, and Alvaro Retana to interview the ISOC BoT candidates.

  • 2025-01-22: Tommy Pauly to send a response to the liaison from ITU-
    T FG AINN once Colin Perkins confirms that it is ready to be sent.

  • 2024-06-25: Suresh Krishnan to draft a document obsoleting RFC 3113
    (Update RFC3113 to in only high level details of the collaboration
    (3GPP-IETF co-ordination team) and move the details to a Wiki.
    Remove references to technology and org structure items that will
    become out of date quickly.


On Hold:
  • 2024-12-18: Suresh Krishnan to try and schedule a technical
    discussion about the Tesla Transport Protocol over Ethernet
    (TTPoE).

  • 2023-06-07: Dhruv Dhody and Wes Hardaker to track adding IAB

1.7 IAB Appointments

  The next appointment the IAB will make is for the CCG in May.


2. IAB at IETF 122

  Alvaro Retana volunteered to co-chair IAB Open at IEF 122. After
  some debate back and forth, the IAB agreed to hold two separate
  sessions at the meeting; one for regular IAB open meeting topics
  and one focused on WSIS+20 issues led by ISOC. The WSIS+20
  session will be identified on the meeting agenda.


3. IAB Meeting Time after IETF 122

  While there is no single meeting time that is good across all
  represented time zones, the IAB agreed to change its meetings to
  one hour earlier after IETF 122 (0600 US Pacific, 1300 UTC. The
  meeting cadence and length will remain the same.

  The IAB will revisit the meeting time discussion again before IETF
  124, since the time zone spread will change again in October/November
  as various regions switch in and out of Daylight/Summer time.


4. Retreat Logistics

  The IAB and IESG have filled out a Doodle and the best week is
  June 16, 2025. Tommy Pauly proposed a more condensed 4 day total
  retreat, with 1.5 days of each group meeting alone instead of 2.
  The IAB had no objection to this proposal, and it will be taken
  to the IESG.


5. Executive Session: Bringing atproto to the IETF

  This topic was discussed in an executive session with current
  and incoming IAB members as well as Secretariat.


6. Executive Session: Internet Society BOT Appointment

  This topic was discussed in an executive session with current
  IAB members as well as Secretariat. A vote on this appointment
  was begun and will conclude over email.


7. Next IAB Meeting

  The next IAB meeting will be in two weeks on 19 February 2025.
