I have reviewed the document "Controlling State Advertisements Of
Non-negotiated LDP Applications" (draft-ietf-mpls-ldp-ip-pw-capability-07) as
part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF
documents being processed by the IESG.  These comments were written primarily
for the benefit of the operational area directors.  Document editors and WG
chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments.

Intended status: Standards Track

Current draft status: Submitted to IESG for Publication

IANA Review State: IANA OK - Actions Needed from IANA - Review Needed

Summary: The document describes a solution by which an LDP speaker announces to
its peer its disinterest in non-negotiated applications, thus disabling the
unnecessary advertisement of corresponding application state, which would have
otherwise be advertised over the established LDP session.

I have to admit I'm no MPLS expert. Though I believe the document is
well-written and thorough concerning protocol extension specifications.

I don't see any issues from the operations and management pov.

No draft nits found.

Cheers,

Mehmet
