IETF Last Call Review of draft-ietf-rtgwg-vrrp-rfc8347bis-15

   Hello,

   I have reviewed this document as part of the security directorate's
ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG.
These comments were written primarily for the benefit of the security
area directors. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments
just like any other last call comments.

The summary of the review is Ready with Nit.

   The document seems complete to this Yang neophyte. The Security
Considerations mention subtrees and data nodes that are particularly
sensitive, to remind implementers to pay attention, which is very
well done. Kudos to the authors for including that instead of just
punting security to the transport.

   The nit is in the Security Considerations which says,

  "These YANG-based protocols (1) have to use a secure transport layer..."

and that is really calling out for a normative key word. Suggest,

  "These YANG-based protocols (1) MUST use a secure transport layer..."
