Hi! I have reviewed this document as part of the Operational directorate's ongoing effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments were written primarily for the benefit of the operational area directors. Document editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call comments. This document is on the Standards track, specifying the use of DTLS as a transport protocol for STUN. Summary: Ready This document is ready. This document is extremely well written, adding DTLS as a new transport for STUN (in addition to TCP, UDP, and TLS, which is not optimal for STUN). It covers operational considerations such as path MTU. Default values for the ports are clearly indicated (and registered), and non-default value usage well explained. Lastly, I truly appreciate the inclusion and details in the Implementation Status section. Hope this helps. Thanks, -- Carlos.
