II was asked to do an OPS-DIR review of the ID Uniform Resource Name (URN) Namespace Registration Transition (draft-ietf-urnbis-ns-reg-transition-08.txt). This document updates replaces two old URN registration RFCs, provides advice on updating a third and provides advice to the IAMA on how to deal with other URN registrations. Documents of this type do not have a direct impact on network operations (and I found none). An indirect (and positive) impact might come from the improved accuracy in the URN registrations but I’m not quite sure how. In summary, I think this document is ready for publication Scott
