Hi Kenneth, OPS-DIR,

This is an OPS-DIR review of the subject draft.
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-murchison-webdav-prefer-12

Please treat these comments as you would any
other Last Call comments.

This draft proposes to update the recently approved
HTTP prefer header field, allowing a WebDAV client
to request specific server behaviors in response to a
request, and defines the "depth-noroot" preference.
For folks unfamiliar with WebDAV and its history
(as I was), there is good background here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebDAV

Since the protocol extensions described here are
limited to WebDAV clients and servers, the
proposals appear to improve the efficiency of
the protocol, each of the proposals is supported
by examples, and there is extensive implementation
experience described in Section 5, I don't foresee
any new issues for network operations from deployment
of this update.

Summary: Ready

regards,
Al
