Hi all: I have performed an Operations Directorate review of draft-sgtatham-secsh-iutf8-05 "This document updates RFC 4254 by specifying a new opcode in the Secure Shell terminal modes encoding. The new opcode describes the widely used IUTF8 terminal mode bit, which indicates that terminal I/O uses the UTF-8 character encoding." This is a very short draft, all it does is add an entry in the IANA SSH Pseudo-Terminal Encoded Terminal Modes registry (one of the subregistries for Secure Shell (SSH) Protocol Parameters). That seems a useful addition to SSH's terminal modes, and one that should not cause interoperability problems. It's Security Considerations section is minimal; maybe it would be good to point out potential 'Internationalization' risks? However, I can't suggest a suitable reference for that. Other than that, this draft is ready for publication.
