Technical Summary This document tightens up and extends the random selection mechanism used for (among other things) nomcom selection, documented in RFC 2777. It is more neutral than its predecessors with regard to types of input, and is able to handle larger pools of candidates. Working Group Summary This document is an individual submission, but has been reviewed by the NOMCOM WG. The issues that were raised during nomcom WG review have been addressed. Protocol Quality Harald Alvestrand and Avri Doria have reviewed the document for the IESG.
