Authors will ask IANA to reference this spec, to address Discuss. The host-skipping /// (see old Discuss) is* documented ok in the spec - several of us missed the flow on it.

Reviewed by Scott Brim, Gen-ART, at Last Call time. His review: No objection. I didn't spend a lot of time on it (short attention span), but it looks like they did the cutting and pasting right and I saw no conceptual issues. It would be nice if the Security Considerations section were more informative, for the sake of implementers, but it's good enough to pass.

IANA has reserved the "ldaps" scheme. Should it be discussed in this document? Please remove section 12 prior to publication as an RFC.
