Technical Summary This document describes the publickey file format used by many implementations of the ssh protocol. It also describes the format of fingerprints used by ssh implementations. Working Group Summary There was strong consensus to publish this document. Protocol Quality There are several implementation of this specification. This document was reviewed for the IESG by Sam Hartman.
