Technical Summary

  This document defines a provably secure Extensible Authentication
  Protocol (EAP) method called EAP-PAX.  This method is a lightweight
  shared-key authentication protocol with optional support for
  provisioning, key management, identity protection, and authenticated
  data exchange.
